Boy do I know what this feels like.

This is the BEST VIDEO EVER.

Sometimes the dance positions that are so easy for everyone else are so hard for us.

This is exactly how I felt yesterday watching everyone relevé with such ease.

Dancer or not, this will make your day.

About THE YEAR I DANCED.

A few years ago my future was uncertain in all ways. I didn't have a "job" in the traditional sense and I had no savings. But I believed that freedom comes in movement, and right action, not in fear. I believed that if I focused on the dance, abundance would follow. I believed that if I spent a year studying and celebrating movement in all its forms, and writing about it here, only good could come of it.

Turns out I was right. I had one of the best years of my life. Filled with beauty and pain and abundance and loss. But I weathered the storm through movement.

So I am going to continue the story. I am going to make this year and the next year and the next year the Year I Danced.

Because I want to be the best life dancer I can be.

And because life is too important and too short not to celebrate.
