The Year I Danced: Buddha is in the details in the quiet of a still morning.

About THE YEAR I DANCED.

A few years ago my future was uncertain in all ways. I didn't have a "job" in the traditional sense and I had no savings. But I believed that freedom comes in movement, and right action, not in fear. I believed that if I focused on the dance, abundance would follow. I believed that if I spent a year studying and celebrating movement in all its forms, and writing about it here, only good could come of it.

Turns out I was right. I had one of the best years of my life. Filled with beauty and pain and abundance and loss. But I weathered the storm through movement.

So I am going to continue the story. I am going to make this year and the next year and the next year the Year I Danced.

Because I want to be the best life dancer I can be.

And because life is too important and too short not to celebrate.
