Check it out! Here is why Britt is in Trockadero.

I am so excited to report that my friend and fellow dancer (technically it is true cuz we were "Single Ladies" together) Britt Spitler got a job with Trockadero, the amazing all-male dance troupe.

Here is an article about Britt and even more fun than that is the short video, above, of him dancing en pointe.

Trockadero is coming to Columbus and Louisville soon so check out the schedule and see if you can catch a show.

About THE YEAR I DANCED.

A few years ago my future was uncertain in all ways. I didn't have a "job" in the traditional sense and I had no savings. But I believed that freedom comes in movement, and right action, not in fear. I believed that if I focused on the dance, abundance would follow. I believed that if I spent a year studying and celebrating movement in all its forms, and writing about it here, only good could come of it.

Turns out I was right. I had one of the best years of my life. Filled with beauty and pain and abundance and loss. But I weathered the storm through movement.

So I am going to continue the story. I am going to make this year and the next year and the next year the Year I Danced.

Because I want to be the best life dancer I can be.

And because life is too important and too short not to celebrate.
